Swimming Pool in Las Vegas

Las Vegas
Swimming Pools

If hanging out at a Las Vegas swimming pool is your top priority when visiting this city, this article is written for you. Some of the top pools in Las Vegas are featured below. Just remember when you book your reservations that most hotels require you to be a paying guest in order to take advantage of their swimming pool(s). You will be asked to show your room key/card before being allowed in.

Except for my number one choice of swimming pools in Las Vegas (immediately below), the pools featured are not ranked in any special order. And not all are listed at this time. I hope to feature more popular pools in the future when my research continues during the Las Vegas "pool season". With that, let's begin...

Mandalay Bay's Swimming Pool Complex

Mandalay Bay Lazy RiverMandalay Wave Pool When it comes to swimming  pools in Las Vegas, Mandalay  Bay has about the best to  offer. The featured attraction is  their Wave Pool with sand  beach (seen at left) but there  are other pools in the complex.  You can also tube on the Lazy River. No other Las Vegas  resort can top the swimming area that Mandalay Bay offers.

Mirage Swimming Pools

Mirage Swimming Pool Pic1 Mirage Swimming Pool Pic2The swimming complex at  the Mirage consists of one  large pool, one small pool  and a wonderful tropical  setting. The unusual design  of the pool is impressive,  consisting of small bays  complete with water slides.  Definitely one of the better  swimming pools on the  Vegas Strip.

The Luxor Swimming Pools

Luxor Swimming Pool Pic1Luxor Swimming Pool Pic2The Luxor doesn't have a wave pool or sand beach or lazy river float but it does have one beautiful swimming area (and nearby whirlpool). With the towering palms and other greenery, this is a great pool complex to spend time at.

The Hard Rock Hotel Swimming Pool

Hard Rock Swimming Pool Pic1Hard Rock Swimming Pool Pic2Where the wild REHAB takes place. I took these pictures early in the day to avoid the crowd. It was pretty much me and the lifeguards. When the  party starts, it's hard to see the water. One of the best pool party areas in Las Vegas.

The Excalibur Swimming Pool

Excalibur Swimming Pool Pic1Excalibur Swimming Pool Pic2I was a little surprised when stopping by to take these pictures. I didn't expect the Excalibur to have a swimming area this nice. It's not the greatest swimming pool on the Strip but if you are staying here, you won't be disappointed.

MGM Grand's Swimming Pools

MGM Grand Pool Pic1MGM's Grand Pool PictureMGM Grand provides its guests with a large pool complex consisting of 5 pools, 3 whirlpools and a river ride. The setting is "grand" and the Grand Pool (at right) is one of the largest of any in Las Vegas.

Rio's Voodoo Beach

Rio Hotel Voodoo Beach Pool Pic1Rio Hotel Voodoo Beach Pic2Rio's Voodoo Beach consists of three large pools, water falls, sand beaches and Jacuzzis. A nice place to spend some time. One of the few hotels on the Las Vegas Strip (well okay, just off the Strip) where you can enjoy the pools without being a guest.

The M Resort Swimming Pools

M Resort is all the rage in Las Vegas this spring. Opened on March M Resort Swimming Pool1st of 2009, I was able to get a few
M Resort Las Vegas pictures of workmen putting  the finishing touches on the  pool complex which looks  to be spectacular. The M  Resort/Casino is located on  Las Vegas Blvd. about 10  miles south of the MGM, New York New York, Excalibur intersection.
